Dani Dawson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Faith Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Bailey Voeller, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Christ Covenant gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They put the hurt on Jacksonville Christian Academy with a sharp 60-37 victory. Given Christ Covenant's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Jacksonville Christian Academy is ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Faith Christian Academy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Christ Covenant, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.
