The White County Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Upperman Bees at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully White County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
Last Friday, White County didn't have too much trouble with the Jets on the road as they won 52-34.
White County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tripp Pinion, who scored 22 points along with five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pinion has scored at least a third of White County's points. Cole Sims was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Upperman entered their tilt with the Tigers with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Upperman simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Tigers 75-41 on the road. Upperman has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.
White County's record is now 9-10. As for Upperman, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
White County came up short against the Bees in their previous meeting last Wednesday, falling 52-42. Can White County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
