After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pewaukee, McFarland was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lake Mills L-Cats by a score of 4-1. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the L-Cats: they've now won three in a row.

McFarland's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Lake Mills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McFarland will venture away from home to face off against Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lake Mills, they will face off against Fort Atkinson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
