It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-12, which was the final score in Wood County Christian's tilt against the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wood County Christian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Parkersburg Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down New Life Christian Academy 39-23. The win was just what Parkersburg Christian needed coming off of a 56-28 loss in their prior matchup.
Wood County Christian's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Parkersburg Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Wood County Christian took their win against the in their previous meeting back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 47-21. Will Wood County Christian repeat their success, or do the have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
