Millington Central had a senior duo take command as Bailey Boone dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds and Alana Whiten scored 18 points. Boone is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Kaitlyn Holmes was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Brighton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-16 record this season. As for Millington Central, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Brighton have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.2 rebounds per game.
