Pike (Indianapolis, Ind.), as the unit scored 12 in defeating
Pike (Indianapolis, Ind.), 49-21.

Isaiah Townsend touchdown run in the first quarter.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 21 entering the fourth.
The loss snapped the Red Devils' 4-game winning streak.
Taylor Sanders made a difference for Pike. The junior ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown.
Lawrence Central's standout player in the win was Townsend. The senior wingback ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown. He has now scored 13 touchdowns on the season.

David Kenney, PHS came in giving up 16.9 points per game this season. The Red Devils struggled against LC, which came in averaging 36.4 points per game.
A 35-32 Lawrence Central victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
