Pottsville was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wyomissing Spartans.
 Pottsville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Dominic Rynard, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.  Landon Trout also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
Pottsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wyomissing, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season.
 Pottsville will host Blue Mountain  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so the Crimson Tide's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wyomissing, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Kutztown  at 6:15  p.m.  on Monday.
