Even though the Buhach Colony Thunder scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, the Hilmar Yellowjackets still came out on top. Hilmar secured a 64-58 W over Buhach Colony. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hilmar.
Hilmar had a senior duo take command as Jason Moniz scored 19 points and Dylan Decosta scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Nick Baballe, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds.
Hilmar's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Buhach Colony, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilmar will challenge Pacific Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Pacific Grove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Buhach Colony, they will head out on the road to face off against Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
