2010 notes: It looks like Barbers Hill has swapped one well-known coaching veteran for another. When 12-year coach Don Price departed this offseason, former Lewisville coach Ronnie Gage seemed like a perfect fit. But now Gage has to resurrect Barber Hill's golden era - at one point, Hill had eight straight seasons of eight or more wins, tops in school history. Gage will immediately turn to OLB Bellard, who got off to a hot start in '09 before falling with a season-ending injury. But in his place rose junior LB Reuter (117 tackles), a first-team AD pick as a sophomore who could help solidify one of the district's better LB corps. The offense will have to find a new QB, but moving to the flexbone offense means runners like FBs Bradford and young Dolan will get more of a chance to shine anyways. The OL has three guys back who should make an impact, but the DL still has questions to be answered.
