The Sargent County Bulldogs can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over Richland. Given Sargent County's advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Colts are ranked 103rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Richland still got an impressive performance from Nick Mjoness, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Casyn Syvertsen, who scored 11 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Sargent County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Richland, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Sargent County will take on the Warbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Richland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
