The Western Reserve Academy Pioneers stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They breezed by Hawken on the road to the tune of 61-9. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-6.
Western Reserve Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Islay Moore led the charge by scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Brenneman, who scored nine points along with five assists and two steals.
Western Reserve Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Hawken, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.
