The victory was some much needed relief for Riverfield Academy as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
When it comes to explaining why Christian Collegiate Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Natalie Davis. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Davis hasn't dropped below three blocks for four straight games.
Riverfield Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Christian Collegiate Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
