The Davis Aerospace Tech Aviators posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Academy of the Americas 51-16 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Davis Aerospace Tech sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Davis Aerospace Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jontae Brooks led the charge by scoring 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylin Edwards-Porter, who scored 12 points.
Cristian Gutierrez and Edward Fuentes certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Gutierrez scored eight points, while Fuentes scored seven points.
Davis Aerospace Tech pushed their record up to 8-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.67 points. As for Academy of the Americas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Davis Aerospace Tech will be playing at home against Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglass is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Academy of the Americas, they will head out on the road to take on Communication Media Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Communication Media Arts is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
