Richwood won the last time they faced Sterlington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Richwood Rams put the hurt on the Sterlington Panthers with a sharp 97-76 win. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Sterlington lost, don't look at Cooper Nelson. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 21 en route to 36 points and six assists. Nelson's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gaven Evans, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points.

Richwood's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-9. As for Sterlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bastrop the next time they take the court. Sterlington will head out to face Bastrop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Richwood will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
