The Easley Green Wave will square off against the Hillcrest Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Easley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over J.L. Mann on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

McGee was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Camora Little was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Journey Price was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Hillcrest had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Patriots a 9-0 shutout.
Hillcrest also got a great performance from Suzanna Duwel as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Hillcrest let Skyla Benton and Maria Sialmas run wild. Benton went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Sialmas got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that Sialmas has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Chloe Cross, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Easley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hillcrest, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Easley came up short against Hillcrest in their previous matchup on April 1st, falling 7-2. Will the Green Wave have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
