Heard County won the last time they faced Callaway and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Braves skirted past the Cavaliers 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Heard County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 15-10.

Despite the loss, Callaway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aidyn Alford-Bailey had ten digs.

Heard County's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Callaway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Heard County will face off against Coosa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Callaway, they will challenge Hardaway at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
