St. Joseph Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders a 10-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Flashes were the (much) better team in the second half.

Cody Ott threw for 65 yards on nine of 13 attempts. Camden Coffindaffer was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards.

St. Joseph Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Academy will head out to take on Hilliard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
