Section 5 Livingston II recap Nov. 7, 2012
Avon extended the longest winning streak in Section 5 Livingston II this week by beating Notre Dame, 43-7. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Braves.
Avon was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Fighting Irish. Andy Englert's team came in at 16 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
The Braves' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. TJ Crye threw for 137 and two touchdowns and Brandon McCaffery had 57 yards receiving. On the ground Crye chipped in 136 yards. Jeff Fasoldt helped Avon's passing attack out by catching two balls for 33 yards.
Perry's Cory Dillon and Jake Kiehle have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dillon has thrown for 1425 yards this season, while Kiehle, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 31 catches for 518 yards. Le Roy's Peter Privitera leads the league in rushing yards with 962.
Avon took down Notre Dame 43-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Crye in the win.
