The Joshua Owls''s nine-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 33-26 victory over Corsicana. The victory was just what Joshua needed coming off of a 35-0 defeat in their prior match.
Will Koller had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Justin Tullis also helped out as he racked up 127 rushing yards.
Despite the loss, Corsicana still got an impressive performance from Darelle Smith, who rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Smith really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Joshua's win bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Corsicana, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8.
Joshua does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Corsicana also has no future games currently scheduled.
