Jayven Williams Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Summerville got the W thanks in part to Jayven Williams playing the best football he has all season. Williams rushed for 278 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.
The victory for Summerville keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Williams' next matchup is against Ashley Ridge on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Fort Dorchester is undefeated when Campbell posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Fort Dorchester's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. They and James Island are set to duel on Friday.

On Friday, Ashley Ridge got the W thanks in part to Trevor Kalisz playing the best football he has all season. Kalisz threw for 201 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Kalisz must have Stall's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kalisz saw the Warriors), he threw for 251 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

Keeping Kalisz company is Jayden Acosta, a fellow Ashley Ridge player. He rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
If the past is any indication, Acosta could be in store for another big game when he takes on Summerville on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Acosta saw the Green Wave), he rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns.
