Clay not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 5th. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Bartram Trail Bears. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Easton McMahan was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Clayton Hickey also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Clay's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-8. As for Bartram Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Coming up, Clay will take on Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Devils 3.4, the Conquerors 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bartram Trail, they will square off against Bolles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
