If the Kecoughtan Warriors were riding high off their 76-42 takedown of the Phoebus Phantoms on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Kecoughtan fell to Norcom 59-55. Kecoughtan was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Norcom apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.
Kecoughtan lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Marcel Pace, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Tyler Suber, who scored 13 points.
Kecoughtan now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Norcom, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Churchland the next time they take the court. Norcom will head out to face Churchland at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Kecoughtan will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on December 30th.
