Julia Braganca was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Krause, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Centennial was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Centennial pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Hammond, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
