On Friday Paoli take on Midway at 7:00 PM. Paoli will be hoping to continue their now five-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Paoli were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Wilson-Henryetta 52-6. Senior Cory Cunningham was the offensive standout of the match for Paoli, as he rushed for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Midway got themselves on the board against Bowlegs, but Bowlegs never followed suit. Midway took the match and then some with a 58-0 win over Bowlegs. The Midway offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Their wins bumped Midway to 4-2 and Paoli to 5-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
