Su'a Cravens ran for two touchdowns and
Garrett Caraway added two as well as
Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, Calif.) defeated Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, Calif.) 52-0 on Saturday.
The Broncos were up 35-0 at the half after taking the lead on a Cravens touchdown run in the first quarter.
Vista Murrieta expanded its lead to 45 points entering the fourth quarter. VM scored three times in the third, including once on a safety.
With the win the Broncos extended their winning streak to nine games. Vista Murrieta defeated the Nighthawks 45-17 last week.
VM came into the game allowing 13.6 points per game. The zero points that the Rams ended with were well below their average of 42.1 coming into the game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 51-20 win for the Broncos.
The defeat comes as a step back for Murrieta Mesa, which notched a 34-17 victory over Temecula Valley in its previous outing.
Murrieta Mesa (6-3) goes up against Great Oak in a Southwestern game matchup next week, while Vista Murrieta (9-0) locks horns with Chaparral also in a Southwestern game.
