Fort Wayne Crusaders will take on the CHASE Conquerors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Fort Wayne Crusaders sitting on six straight wins and CHASE on five (dating back to last season).
Fort Wayne Crusaders is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Lakewood Park Christian on Thursday as they made off with a 14-6 victory.

Christian Bontrager was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Xander McCarran was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Fort Wayne Crusaders was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakewood Park Christian only posted a batting average of .192.
CHASE came out on top against Bloomfield Christian School on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Conquerors walked away with an 8-4 win over the Defenders. The game was the first time the Conquerors have beaten the Defenders on their field since April 11, 2023.
Judah Mason was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Mason was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Mason is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
In other pitching news, Konnor Kern looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Caleb Niswonger, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Niswonger, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Fort Wayne Crusaders' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for CHASE, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Fort Wayne Crusaders has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like CHASE struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
