After losing to Avon the last time they met, Westlake decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westlake Demons walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Avon Eagles on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Demons who have now won five matches in a row.

Hayden Purdy was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 12 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. Ryan Turk was another key player, going 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Westlake pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Avon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Westlake will challenge Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season. As for Avon, they will square off against Brookside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Brookside's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
