Meanwhile, Victory Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 35-30 to Forest Lake Christian.

The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.8 points per game. As for Victory Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
