Chetopa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Marmaton Valley Wildcats 80-38. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Chetopa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Marmaton Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chetopa will face off against Yates Center on Tuesday. Chetopa is facing Yates Center at the right time seeing as Yates Center is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marmaton Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Oswego at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marmaton Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
