The West Rusk Raiders were the 51-43 winner over the Troup Tigers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. West Rusk suffered a rough 62-39 defeat at the hands of Troup on Tuesday. West Rusk's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
West Rusk lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kimora Pryor, who scored 13 points along with three blocks. Gabby Coleman was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, West Rusk smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. This was only their 16th loss (out of 23 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
West Rusk dropped their record down to 9-21 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Troup, their win bumped their record up to 16-13.
West Rusk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Troup also has no future games currently scheduled.
