The Northwood Rangers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past Otsego 46-10 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northwood also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Carissa Davise was the offensive standout of the contest as she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Autumn Schroeder, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Northwood's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Otsego, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwood will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ottawa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Otsego, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
