Clymer Central had a senior duo take command as Jonathan Massing dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds and Kaden Beckerink scored 18 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Beckerink has scored at least 25% of Clymer Central's points. Tanner Mihalko was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
The victory got Clymer Central back to even at 4-4. As for Chautauqua Lake, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clymer Central will challenge Panama at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Panama's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for Chautauqua Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westfield is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
