Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Legacy walked away with it. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars  on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 24-26,  25-17.
 Raelene Miguel paced Legacy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Miguel got some help from  Miy'Aja Diggs and her 36 assists. Miguel and  Diggs didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with five apiece.
 Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Isabelle Arnold, who  had 16  digs and two  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cali Wellington, who  had 14  assists and eight  digs.
Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, their loss  ended  a  four-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 23-17.
 Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Legacy and Green Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Pinecrest Academy Cadence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
