Baseball Recap: Ketcham Wins Going Away Against Arlington

Ketcham barely beat Arlington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Storm were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Admirals on Wednesday. Considering the Storm have won five games by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

John Esposito spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joe Downey, who went 1-for-4 with four RBI and one triple. Another player making a difference was Ensley Perez, who went 1-for-5 with one run and one RBI.

Ketcham's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Arlington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ketcham will face off against New Rochelle at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arlington, they will take on John Jay at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
