Bryce Nicholson was dynamite on Wednesday, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than six strikeouts. For the year, he has been strong no matter where he plays. On the mound, he has an ERA of 5.14 over 16.3 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat he has slashed 0.500/0.545/0.800 with 9 runs and just as many RBI.
