The Kanab Cowboys entered their tilt with the Beaver Beavers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Kanab walked away with a 53-45 win over the Beavers on Wednesday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Kanab has scored all season.
Kanab's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cash Mortensen, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Kanab is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Beaver, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kanab will challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Enterprise's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matchups. As for Beaver, they will head out on the road to take on the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Parowan is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
