Victory Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Gabriel Thompson, who scored 19 points. Thompson is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lloyd Hampton, who scored 13 points.
Southview Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southview Christian will take on Scotland Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Scotland Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against New Manna Christian at 6:30 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Micah Wagner and Thompson.
