West Deptford is 2-8 against Audubon since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Eagles will face off against the Green Wave at 3:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
West Deptford's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Haddon Heights 9-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Haddon Heights' batters probably weren't too happy with Jordyn Ambrosius, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up two walks). Ambrosius has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, West Deptford got a big performance out of Sadie Afflerbach, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI Afflerbach has posted since April 1st. The team also got some help courtesy of K'Lee Liles, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Deptford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
Audubon came out on top against Sterling on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Green Wave were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Silver Knights. The Green Wave haven't had any issues with the Silver Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Kylie Cannaday made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Cannaday was also solid in the batter's box, earning four RBI.
In other batting news, Emma Speyerer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Bria Klingler also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
West Deptford's record is now 12-6-1. As for Audubon, their record now sits at 8-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. West Deptford has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 12.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Audubon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
West Deptford might still be hurting after the 11-4 loss they got from Audubon in their previous matchup on April 9th. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
