They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 victory over Olentangy Liberty on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Olentangy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jay Agrawal, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Ulysses Ponder, who scored 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Olentangy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Olentangy Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Olentangy will head out on the road to face off against Hilliard Darby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Olentangy Liberty, Olentangy Liberty and Hilliard Bradley will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hilliard Bradley is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
