Holy Cross lost to Western Wayne  back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Crusaders walked away with  a   10-6  win over the Wildcats. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Crusaders.

 AJ Piestrak was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. He is becoming a predictor of Holy Cross' success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 3-10 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Nick Rusinko, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Holy Cross  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in March.
Holy Cross' record now sits at 6-10. As for Western Wayne, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record  this season.
 Holy Cross will face off against Mid Valley at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 8.4  runs per game this season. As for Western Wayne, they have already played their next game,  a  2-0  defeat against Honesdale on the 5th.
