You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Crockett on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Diboll Lumberjacks with a sharp 70-46 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Diboll saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyrece Mcmillan went 7 for 17 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 43.5% of Diboll's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydan Miller, who had eight points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks.

Crockett is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Diboll, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

The future could be bright for both Crockett and Diboll: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Crockett will try to hand New Waverly their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Diboll will try to hand Woodville their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
