The Miami East Vikings fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Covington 42-7 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.
Miami East is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Covington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Miami East will head out on the road to face off against Brookville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Miami East in Ohio (Brookville is ranked 136th, while Miami East is ranked 475th). Covington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
