On Friday, Raleigh HomeSchool had to suffer through a rough 66-23 loss at the hands of North Raleigh Christian Academy. Raleigh HomeSchool has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tristan Thompson was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayse Buckley, who scored 10 points.
Raleigh HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raleigh HomeSchool will square off against Central Carolina Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Central Carolina Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Raleigh HomeSchool likes a good challenge. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against John Paul II Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
