Nixon Ligouri Delivers Electric Effort Vs Fairbury
Starting off the list is Auburn's Nixon Ligouri, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ligouri rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Cy Petersen Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Syracuse got the W thanks in part to Cy Petersen playing the best football he has all season. Petersen rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Petersen must have Falls City's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Petersen last faced the Tigers back in September of 2023, he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns.
