Muscle Shoals barely beat Athens the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Golden Eagles on Tuesday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Muscle Shoals' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10. As for Athens, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.

Muscle Shoals will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Golden Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
