Ignacio had lost four straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 10-10 to make it five. They came up short against the Pagosa Springs Pirates, falling 15-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 on Tuesday.

Ignacio saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Archuletta, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Archuletta has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another was Ambrose Valdez, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
As for Pagosa Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
On Pagosa Springs' side, Kaeden Iguchi tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. What's more, Iguchi posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Kasen Limebrook was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Taylor Wells was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
