Frontier extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 15-2 in the process. They blew past the Belpre Golden Eagles 12-1. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.
Kaycee Berentz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with seven RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Kenzie Livingston was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
