Krum has gone a perfect 3-0 against Lake Dallas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Krum is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.
Krum can't be too worried about heading out to take on Lake Dallas: they just beat Aubrey at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Chaparrals on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since February 17th.

Addison Martindale was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Addyson Zimmerman was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Taylor Fauver, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Lake Dallas ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Panther Creek 6-5. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one run.
Lake Dallas also got a great performance from Tennley Money as she struck out eight batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Landry Mancha, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Presley Prewitt was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Krum pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Lake Dallas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.
Wednesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Krum has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .485. However, it's not like Lake Dallas struggles in that department as they've averaged .487. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Krum's way against Lake Dallas in their previous matchup back in March, as Krum made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
