The Granada Hills Charter Highlanders lost against the Chatsworth Chancellors back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Granada Hills Charter took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chatsworth. It was the first time this season that Granada Hills Charter let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, Granada Hills Charter still got an impressive performance from Marc Cherfan, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Cherfan is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 11 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Vo, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Granada Hills Charter's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-5. As for Chatsworth, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.
Granada Hills Charter will challenge Grant at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Grant knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Granada Hills Charter likes a good challenge. Chatsworth won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pilibos at 4:30 p.m. on January 13th. Pilibos is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 70 points per game.
