Thomasville scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 45-24 to the High Point Central Bison. The Bulldogs were down 42-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Thomasville had strong showings from Ariadna Villamor, who posted six points and five steals, and Brooklyn Brown, who had four points along with six rebounds and three steals.

High Point Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Haleigh Davis led the charge by putting up 11 points. Those 11 points gave Davis a new career-high. Zaniyah Roland was another key player, posting 11 points.

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for High Point Central, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Thomasville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-10 defeat against Glenn on the 2nd. High Point Central has also already played their next contest (against Asheboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
